This piece is a stunning wheel-thrown porcelain bowl form, handcrafted from start to finish. The bowl was hand thrown on the pottery wheel, using porcelain clay. The glaze is one of the artist's crystalline glaze formulas he has perfected over the last four decades. With crystalline glazes, the crystals grow during the glaze firing. The crystals grow as they please, creating unique one-of-a-kind crystalline patterns. No two pieces will ever be identical.
